I was asked today where in the bible does it say SMOKING Marijuana is a SIN?? The BIBLE DOES NOT speak about Marijuana or any drug but it does speak about the BODY being a TEMPLE. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. We are aware that inhaling SMOKE into your LUNGS until you began coughing uncontrollably, violently is not NATURAL nor HEALTHY. Long-term exposure to these lung irritants ( cigarettes, marijuana) that damage the lungs and the airways usually is the cause of COPD. 3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. However, no matter what our choices are today, they are ultimately creating our future because every choice that we make will either cause us to be blessed or cursed. Another way to put it, is that things will get better or worse for us. All choices have consequences. These consequences will be for our betterment or will work to destroy us. We are also responsible for our choices. The Bible challenges us with this admonition in Deuteronomy 30:19: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live
