I was asked what have you done this year?. For a second I thought, well, quite a lot. But then: hang on, I havent actually done anything Ive really wanted to since the beginning of March. Despite being basically self-employed, five months have vanished serving other people. This morning I was talking with a person about how long Id been in China. I came to the conclusion that if I took away the wasted time, Im only 29 years old. By the same calculation, she decided that she was 25. So the upcoming Europe trip is more than a holiday. Finally, because I know a dentist I thought Id try my hand at teeth whitening. If anyone has had more than 7 things shoved in his/her mouth at the same time, I hope it didnt last over an hour.
