I was assaulted today on a Las Vegas bus. I paid $5 this morning for a 24-hour pass. Coming home from my first job (I worked both jobs today), the scanner/reader on the bus ate my pass. I told the driver I needed a new pass to get home and get to my second job. He just shrugged and said Nothing I can do, next! Excuse you? I insisted and he kept repeating Nothing I can do then told me I had to move behind the yellow line or he couldnt move the bus. I said, Im not moving. A bunch of passengers lost their shit and one white trash woman started punching me in the face! The driver did NOTHING! Except opened the door while another passenger grabbed me and dragged me off the bus! My face is bruised, I cant chew from the pain in my jaw and my chest feels like I got pummeled by Mike Tyson. I filed a police report, lodged a complaint with the bus company (who were surprisingly sympathetic and appalled at the drivers behavior). Next? Lawsuit. This bus service is already deplorable. Getting assaulted/injured when I paid full price for a 24-hour pass I barely used is flat out bullshit.
