I was at my old neighborhood this afternoon. I had an appointment at my bank located in Ste-Justine childrens hospital. Because of the occurring snowstorm, I left work half an hour early, cause I know traffic is going to be chaotic during rush hour. I just got off the bus in front of the hospital... waiting for the lights to turn green to get across, in front of me are a bunch of young teens (that I feel are so eager to get across) that are waiting for the lights also. When the lights only turned yellow, one of the kids bolted cross without even looking both ways, all I managed to yell was attente(wait) and BANG! He ran full force right on the side of the crossing car, he bounced and fell on his back on the snowy ground... he was disoriented for a little more than a minute. He lays there trying to collect his bearings. He was lucky the car was only going about 30 km. Hell be ok... he was a little bit shaken but no injuries. I just want to let this thought out of my system that, no one got severely hurt or died in front of me today. Please be safe and have a goodnight to all.
