I was at the waterfront restaurant tonight having dinner with marlene.saw a familiar face, asked if he played quarterback for the berea braves back in 1969! He said yes he did, he talked about bud mcnellie, who played for his dad lee at baldwin -wallace and mentioned both sam and mike salupo. I told him I played for the bearcats against him(i actually sat on the bench) he asked what the score was, berea beat us by 40 points.while we were shaking hands I asked him what hes been doing since leaving berea, he laughed.when we were leaving the room of the restaurant he said good bye bearcat he and his wife were very cordial...needless to say this made my day
