I was blessed to be on a national talk show last night. The host entitled it lets talk with Bishop Larry D. Trotter ( The Man, The Music and the Marriage). We got stuck talking about why I got married. I thought about the pain of past relationships and then focused on the healing that has come with me marrying Lady Mildred Trotter. She completes me. She challenges me. She caresses me when needed. I thought at some points in my life over the past seven years that Id never marry again then she came in. By what I thought I wanted and needed, she was the total opposite! And as far as people thought, she was not a good candidate ..lol. But FB family, I believe she was born to love and take care of me. I no longer have to wonder what Im gonna do when I get home, whos gonna pray for me when Im weak nor who was gonna insist that I rest. Ive been trying to get the fight, the Westside and the hood out of her but actually I even love some of that. When I was asked on the show; how was the marriage, my face brightened and I felt myself smiling. They asked how I was doing I replied Im better than anybody you know!!!!!! I hope by being so transparent about our relationship that it encourages someone else. Those who know me know that I love hard and unconditionally. I love all of my children, all of my church family, all of the kingdom and all of you my FB family. But contrary to public opinion I didnt marry Mildred because she can sing nor preach, nor because of her anointing nor popularity. But as I said to the host of the show I married her because I love her!! Thats it and thats all and guess what Im happy +LDT
