I was challenged by Susan Dawson Hogle to list 3 things for which Im grateful, for the next 5 days. I think most fb challenges are silly, but not this one! I thank you, Sue, for this one! We could all use a little more gratitude in our lives! Give me the number 3, and I know right where to start: Desiree Allred, I am sooo very grateful for you, my dearest Rambling Rose! Youre the only one of my kids I didnt do anything to earn...I just married a great guy, & you were a bonus item! Your sharp wit, independence, and willingness to forge your own path, are second to none! If you ever forget for a moment that I love you, keep in mind that its because youre a teenager, & it isnt my job to be your pal right now. One day, though, I predict that well be very close friends! Why not? Youve somehow inherited my distaste for pants! ;) Christian, youve given up your fb, so I cant tag you, but here goes, anyway! Youre my sunshine. Youre the first person I ever really loved, and it started the moment I heard your heartbeat! Im incredibly grateful for the brilliant, goofy kid you are. Like your sister, youre a teenager right now, (and an INCREDIBLY moody one, at that! Your mood swings rival a girls ANY day!) So, we cant be friends while Im still raising you. Someday, though, I cant wait to have the kind of close relationship that will irritate your future girlfriends! Princess Morgandy Allred, my little Munchie Girl, Im grateful for your kindness, and your sense of humor, (although you could stand to use that humor a little less in picking fights with your brother and sister!). Youre growing day by day into a beautiful young lady, inside and out. Im also grateful for the monumental differences between you and your sister. Not because one is better or worse, but because I get to witness, first hand, how different and unique girls can be! I love all three of you with my heart and soul, and Im so thankful that I get to go along for this ride of life with you! I challenge Deby Roth, Gloria Allred, and Shawn Wilson Myers!
