I was challenged by my team leader to put my why into words. - TopicsExpress

I was challenged by my team leader to put my why into words. (Sorry its kinda long!) Honestly, my why is simple. I became a distributor for It Works for my family. I was tired of seeing my husband exhausted, trying to figure out ways he could help our finances when he was already stretched to the max. I knew it was hard on him only seeing his family once in four years, but our finances have always been so tight traveling was impossible. Hes always been very supportive of me only working a few hours a week so that I could stay home with Cillian. Neither of us wanted him in childcare. I couldnt imagine someone else getting to experience all the milestones that Id be missing. I also was tired of seeing how frustrated Michael was with his weight. He gained weight when he came here and no matter how hard he tried, he couldnt get rid of it. In the few months since I started with It Works, we can see the financial strain lifting. Its still tight some weeks, but weve started the process for becoming debt free! Which is a process weve been trying to start for years! Michael has lost 18lbs and people are constantly mentioning it at his job. Even my mom is excited to stand on the scales in the morning to see what her weight is, plus she has never been healthier! Shes off all medication and using natural products and methods to keep herself healthy. I watched other distributors for several months afraid to jump for 2 reasons. One was that Id fail. I dont have a big network of people. But I put that fear aside and just hoped my network of people would grow (which it has!) The second reason was I was worried what would people think. I didnt want to be one of those people who annoyed people with all of my posts on Facebook. Then I saw a quote I used to care about other peoples opinions, until I tried to pay the bills with them. With that Ive realized the worst someone can do is tell you theyre not interested. Almost four months in and I have not regretted my decision once. Were getting financially free and healthy in the process! All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, just literally 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery, and I promise you something great will come out of it. - Benjamin Mee
