I was chuffed to see my books poll highly in a couple of school library charts recently (I found out about both via my Twitter feed). At Newbattle High School in Midlothian in Scotland, Zom-B was the most requested and most loaned book from the library in 2014, and Zom-B Underground was #5 -- sweet!!! And at Thorp Academy in Gateshead, I was the 4th most borrowed author from the library in the most recent school term. I always like to hear how my books are doing in schools and libraries, because thats not something any normal bookselling chart can cover. The world of books is a strange place -- sometimes very popular authors might not rank highly on the regular bestseller charts, because a lot of their sales would be to schools, libraries and other organisations which arent included on the normal sales charts. So if any teachers or librarians are reading this in schools where my books are going down a treat, do please let me know, so that I can say a big HI to you!! :-)
