I was crying hard when I watched Fitna The Movie. I am not - TopicsExpress

I was crying hard when I watched Fitna The Movie. I am not really outraged by the non-Muslims. After all, they do not know what Islam is about. Hence naturally they can’t see the beauty of it. And how can they do that if around us people are killing people “for the sake of Islam”? Sadly, from all these incidents, the non-Muslims are quick to judge that Islam is a violent religion and the number of people trying to stir up the tension between Islam and the rest of the world is unfortunately on the rise. Seeing that show was truly disturbing for me as I watched religious leaders make claims of how non-believers should be killed to make God happy. I am a Muslim and I condemn those who use the name of Allah and the Quran to go around slaughtering people. I am a Muslim and I condemn those who use the name of Allah and the Quran to teach their children to hate non-Muslims at a young age. All religions teach goodness. Which religion will ever teach its followers to kill the non- followers in order to make God happy? Definitely not Islam. And I would be appalled if anyone was foolish enough to actually believe that it does. If indeed it would make God happy to see us killing one another, then wouldn’t that make Him cruel and thus contradict Him as being The Most Merciful? With that, this shouldn’t be a war against Islam. Rather, it should be a war against inhumanity. We should be fighting against those provocateurs who use religion as an excuse to get their followers to go on killing sprees and tarnish the name of Islam. Anyway, watching Fitna somehow made me recall the video of the Poso Massacre in Indonesia. That was human mutilation at its worst - women and children being slashed and cut up. Gruesome. What is wrong with these people?! Seriously! It just makes me wonder. The difference between us, humans, and animals is that we have conscience and are equipped with the capability to make sound judgments. Apparently we are not using them to the optimum. You brutally slaughter others. Where’s your conscience?! You cruelly murder innocent children. Where’s your conscience?! If you are not going to use your conscience, you might as well become an animal. But then again, even animals are not as barbaric as you are. They only kill one another to survive. They only kill one another when needed. You, on the other hand, kill for greed and power. You, on the other hand, kill as and when you desire. And THAT just makes you much worse than an animal! Oh Allah! Just what have we become? written by a brother
