I was curious. And the saying goes curiosity killed the cat. That may be so but in my case it would have been a spider. The new day finds me outside manning the BBQ pit. Im tired from a crazy stupid weekend. Everyone in the house is asleep except Lucy the cat. But anyway, I digress. Im sitting in the blackness accompanied by the sound of crickets and the random pick from my playlist. Occasionally I have to get up to flip the ribs. 20 Minutes ago I switched on the lights to make sure the meat wasnt cooking too fast when out in the grass a sparkle caught my eye. Not sure what it was I let curiosity over rule common sense. To my horror I discovered that the sparkle was the reflection from eyes of one of the two or three largest spiders I have ever seen in my life. I almost peed my pants as I screamed silently inside my mind and mustered just enough bravery to deploy an air strike with my right foot. Damn. Why didnt we just place an order with Full Moon and call it a day?
