I was diagnosed with alveolar soft tissue sarcoma in march at the age of 22 (even though Ive had the tumour since I was a child and was told it was a cyst). I just had surgery to amputate my 4th and 5th digits and that corresponding part of my hand on oct.31st. They took a muscle from my leg to put on my hand to even it out a little and also a skin graft from my leg to cover they area. Im at home now, but still have two drains in. Ive done one clinical trial (ENMD 2076), and radiation prior to surgery. on dec 2nd I am meeting back up with my medical oncologist to start my next clinical trial which is an immune therapy for my lung mets (cancer was successfully removed from my hand). I decided it was time to find more people going through what I am since I only know one person with asps! Thank you for welcoming me :)
