I was doing some thinking today after experiencing some tranquility and peace of mind and I came to this realisation. We cannot continue to allow ourselves to be held in a tug of war between the PPP and PNC, with an intersecting subset of two, the AFC in the mix. We need new, untainted leadership to emerge for us to break free from this malignant political sphere. I thought that we needed to wait for the youths of today, including myself to firmly establish ourselves as well educated and upstanding members of society but I think now, that we can no longer afford the wait. Every youth, every activist, every humanitarian should join in solidarity to form a new political party today to contest the next General elections here in Guyana. The current leaders have shown us what theyre made of, their true character continues to be exposed, their lust for power has been proven evident. Let us make them a mere remnant of the past by evoking the leadership of our youth now to take this country forward. Who else believes that the youths of today have what it takes to deliver this country from the current political scourge? With so many youth groups out there and people who care, Im sure its possible. And as I always say, you dont need the kind of expertise old intellects tout is necessary to govern a country. All you need is a sound mind with a high aptitude and the intention to do good; what do you think consultants, experts and advisors are there for?
