I was driving home from the Chiropractor today and got to thinking about the fact that I am going on Medicare and still working 30 hrs. a week. I never really imagined that at 65 I would not have anything to look forward to, like retirement, traveling to see friends & family, no mortgage payment...just didnt really put enough thought into it I guess. I think I never imagined getting older. I will always feel younger than I am. We always assume that we will have someone there to help us out when we need a boost or light the furnace when it goes out. I know I have good friends that I love and family that I love, but what about those people that dont have anyone. I am just saying....I am Thankful for my family & my friends at this Thanksgiving time. I am grateful to have a job that I enjoy and it makes me happy & content. I appreciate my friends that find time to be there for me and for the love and tenderness I get from the man in my life. I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and dont forget to keep in touch with family & friends.
