I was driving two good looking young hipster rock&roll guys in my cab up to the Castro one night. They were both wearing leather biker jackets. Perfect hair. Perfect teeth. Perfect skin. Man I cant believe what an asshole Lou Reed was, one of them says. I mean now I cant listen to the Velvet Underground anymore without thinking about it. They were videographers. They did a weekend of shooting Lou Reed and, on a separate occasion, the Black Keys. He asked us Does that camera shoot black and white? they didnt answer but Lou did after a few minutes okay short answer no. Never mind. Man the Black Keys were so cool and Lou Reed was such a dick. Made me like Lou Reed more. True story.
