I was dropping Bríon at preschool this morning and he was throwing one of those tantrums telling me hed pwefer de bus than the car. I was trying to get his coat on while he cried and moaned. All of a sudden, I spotted an aul fella running towards me, pointing and shouting. It took me by surprise to say the least. He ran straight up to me and said here, hold on there. Ill run in and get a bag of sweets for the young man. Thatll cheer him up. Then he rushed inside, grabbed a bag of chocolate sweets and handed them to me. Of course, its too early for sweets, so I ate them myself, but what a nice man... Love Meath street!
