I was eating a hot dog while waiting for the bus. We are at a rest stop. The guy standing next to me, apropos of nothing, says I am a vegetarian. I dont eat meat unless I kill it myself. In order to restrain the fist of death, I walked away. A couple of thoughts. 1. RUDE! 2. There are good and valid reasons for not eating meat. That one strikes me as neither. After all, you did not weave the denim for the pants you are wearing. 3. If you eat meat you kill, you arent a vegetarian. 4.I distrust fundamentalists of any stripe.
