I was familiar with the sphinx head tomb described in this piece. Sagan, although touted by atheists everywhere, was actually an agnostic. At almost every press conference and every tonight show appearance he was asked if he had found evidence of Gods existence. At his last press conference he gave us the term intelligent design. He stated there was no other explanation for our existence. You wont see evidence of that but thats what he gave us before he died.
