I was feeling in a bit of a slump and God showed up Bold the last few days...A young man from the inner-city of Clevland Ohio showed up in my shop today. The last negro man that I have seen was a year ago in Mis..Lol..anyway we got to visiting and he told me that he had two little girls that he is trying to get custody of. Their mother is so stung out oncrack cocain, she does not even know they exist..:( He had a tough life growing up..showed me a scar from a bullet wound! He is really wanting a better life for his girls..we had an awesome visit about how God can bring you out of any destruction and plant you on solid ground. He was so excited..He said that when he gets home he is going to send me pics of those angels, so that I can continue to pray for them and know how they are doing:) Then I went to the bank and was talking to the loan officer about my educational goals and he turned me onto a board postion in the community, voluteer opportunity and then a job opportunity as well right in this field...I am not quitting my job..so none of you worry! At least not for 3 more years when my degree will be complete.. He said that he could tell that I have a gift of compassion to help others :) I smiled and said that I just want to be of help in this area..my heart led me down this road about 6 months ago and God is taking the wheel:) Amazing how God can take our wounds, heal them, and send us out to be his hands and share the heart of Jesus with those that so desperately need HOPE.. There was one other happening that is private but, just as powerful...AMAZING!!!! Feeling thankful:)
