I was forbidden to take pictures in most of the pens, and I was only allowed to see one pen with males (there are several). In this pen, one poor doggy with a super-lovable face, black and white, short-haired, really common like all Romanian street dogs but sweet just like them- when he saw me he jumped on the railing and climbed all the way up like a monkey, putting his head out through the upper opening in the hope to be noticed and saved from that hell...Whos going to save this little guy?! I was only allowed to take pictures in the enclosure of the special dogs (the beautiful, pure breed ones), here are pictures of a cocker and a husky brought there by their owners! (There are a lot of dogs brought by owners, too because in Romania people are not educated to appreciate the companionship of an animal). Please dont let so many innocent souls be destroyed without even giving them the slightest chance! Please, whoever is able- Im talking first and foremost to charities and associations, non-profits for the protection of animals- try to save some of these guys, too! Even if its far away (its not really all that far though, although farther than Bucharest pounds), give them a chance, I am begging you! :-( Without your help they will be mercilessly killed very soon!
