I was given the number 7, so here goes: 1. In college my nickname, for a brief period of time, was Boonesfarm. I am now married to a man whose last name is Boone, and we live on his family farm. :) 2. If I could do it all over again, Id get my degrees/license in counseling. I have never regretted my English degrees, but do think Id be best at counseling. 3. I consider myself a deeply spiritual person, but not very religious. 4. I have zero problems agreeing to disagree. I have strong opinions and values, but believe everyone is entitled to the same, whether they match mine, or are polar opposites. 5. #4 being said, there are two differences I cant overlook: prejudice and ungratefulness. Im pretty intolerant to both in others, and struggle with removing them from my own life. The way I see it, judging others isnt my job. But it is my job to be responsible for who I keep company with, so if you exhibit behavior I believe is immoral, ungrateful or mean-spirited, I will divest quickly. I can be nice to you socially, work with you as needed, but we will not be friends. 6. I hate, hate, hate being in a position where others have to look at me (examples: singing for funerals (I try to hide behind flowers), bowling, opening a gift in front of a group of people). I can stand in front of a large crowd and give a speech with no problems, but if I try to do something like that in a social setting, it makes me panic. 7. I have NO directional skills. None. At all. If we ever travel together and I tell you that I think you should go right, you should, without hesitation, turn left. I will be wrong almost all of the time. If you want a number, tell me. Otherwise Im not assigning them to those who reply.
