I was given the number 8...so here are 8 things that you probably dont know about me. 1. In high school I competed in 4-H square dancing competitions at the NYS Fair. 2. I used to work doing balloon animals and face painting at birthday parties. I also did a little magic and sometimes dressed as a clown. 3. I earned spending money in college by making funnel cakes at the fair. 4. I went to cosmetology school when I was 17, earned my license, and then let it expire when I decided to be a teacher instead. Working as a teacher aide at BOCES was what made me change career paths. 5. I worked 8 summers as a camp counselor at 5 different camps. 6. I taught kids piano lessons when I was a teenager. 7. I went to 5 different colleges as an undergraduate. For my first semester I went to OCC for 3 classes and Oswego State for 3 classes. I lived at home and drove back and forth. That was because it was very last minute and I didnt have time to get accepted. Then I went to Oral Roberts University for one year, Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas for one semester and then I transferred to Henderson State University (which was right across the street, cheaper, and had a better program for Special Education). 8. I drove a motorcycle for a while. It sure was fun on hot days! That was hard!
