I was given the number 8, so here goes... 1) The first concert I went to see was Van Halen after they released 1984. Tony Robertson drove his Monte Carlo (with V HALN on the license plate) with me, Deborah Jennings, Kathy Fitzgerald, and Keith Stagner as passengers. Keith decided to chug a bottle of Jack Daniels on the way to Roanoke and was so drunk by the time we got there that he couldn’t walk so we left him in the car. Somehow, he made it inside to see the show. 2) Lucille Ball is my all-time favorite comedienne. Not only was she hysterically funny, but in her days as a model and an actress, she was stunningly beautiful. 3) I’ve been friends with Steve White for 40 years and counting. I am two days younger than Steve. (Vicky: please remind him of that!) 4) The last book I read was John Taylor’s “Love, Death & Duran Duran”. Great book! 5) I worked at a cemetery for a year. That was a very interesting experience. Memories I will never forget. 6) I’ve seen Dave Matthews Band in concert 23 times. The concerts I saw in North Carolina were always the most fun. 7) My favorite teachers in school were; Mrs. Bibb (English), Ms. Talley (English), Mr. Ford (History), Clara B. “what-now” Jackson (Biology), and Mrs. Shreve (Algebra II). 8) One time in junior high I stood up in the middle of class and “mooned” a classmate. At just that moment, the teacher (Ms. Tychochek) turned around from writing on the chalkboard and got a full view. She called me out into the hallway and told me if that I hadn’t been such a good student that she would send me to the office so quick my head would spin. Then she laughed, and told me to go back in the classroom and keep my pants up. So, I guess, if you’re a good student and make good grades you can get away with mooning people!
