I was going fishing, but instead I ended up in the ER at Hoag Hospital. Right after I fed the feral cats…I was about to go back into the house from the backyard…and before I knew what was up…I was trying to catch my balance and stay up on the back step. I had those crock like clogs on my feet…which are my garden shoes…and my right foot caught on the step…and I went flying…landing pretty much on the back of my head….which caused an enormous hemotoma…according to Dr. Myers…at Hoag ER. I was released without a C-Scan….because he checked me out…asked me many questions and said that the radiation of a C-Scan was greater than the risk of doing nothing…but to watch for certain signs…and return there over the weekend if any of the signs appear. // After getting home, Peter made me a lovely breakfast…when I wiped off my lips…I discovered that the napkin was red…apparently my teeth on both sides had punctured my lower lip. I am pretty sure there is not much that can be done about this… Karen Evarts, What is to be done about this…or anyone else out there…I think I can just let it be…??????
