I was having problem with my subscription. So I had to call MTN customer care. Susan came on the line, & helped me through the process of resolving it. She said I should wait for a confirmation sms & hung up. I got the sms, & the problem was rectified I was taught to always show appreciation. So I had to call back, just to thank Susan. Esther came on the line, & the following conversation ensued between us... Esther: Helo, my name is Esther. What is your name, & how may I help you?. Me: No No! I dont need help. Iv already been helped, just put Susan on the line, let me thank her for what she did for me. Esther: Please, how may I help you?. Me: You can help me by putting Susan on the line. Esther: Please, if I may ask. Who is Susan?. Me: Arrr! Susan, your co-worker na. I just spoke with her few minutes ago. Just put her on the line, please. Esther: Am sorry sir, but I dont think that will be possible. Me: Why?!.. I just want to show appreciation!..Are you jealous?. Esther: sir you really need to get straight to the point here. This is a pri...... Me:......but I am as straight to the point here, as possible... Ok Ok! simply give me her phone number, so I will call and thank her personally. Esther: I dont understand, sir. Me: What dont you understand! Since you cant put her on the line here, just give me her phone number, so I can call her through her mobile phone, &....... #cuts What?!!! Is that how they do?.... I must thank Susan!.. Gosh! am calling back.....
