I was helping carry this piece of equipment hiking out from location the other day right at dark, when out of all the pebbles, twigs and grains of sand, this light streak in this piece of wood caught my eye and called out to me. I backed up and picked it up and put in my pocket. When I got home i discovered it was a fragment of a petrified branch. I began to wonder what was the weather like the day that branch fell or what caused it to be ripped apart. Then i realized that an ancient past had called out to me and connected. How amazing life is...there is a GOD and i aint him....
