I was hoping that Bobby Thompson would talk. Could you possible hear from the real Bobby Thompson, aka John Donald Cody, a Harvard trained lawyer? Obviously a fantastic con man who probably has no acquaintance with the truth. He actually convinced the Virginias legislature to change their laws to benefit his scams. He declined talking at his trial. The whole scenario is unreal, although his contributions to all the political figures just might have been a tip off. Greed reigns at every juncture. You can have anything you want as long as I get my fair share. And it wasnt just Virginia. The man had real vision. Authorities believe he defrauded donors in 41 states of over $100 million. He was convicted in Ohio. I wonder if any of the other defrauded states will bother to get their piece of him? Pretty embarrassing all around. Wave some money in a politicians face? I doubt if Virginia will be interested. It took three hours for the jury to convict him of multiple charges of money laundering, racketeering etc. His sentencing will be interesting. Stay tuned.
