I was in Cabra, Dublin, for the week-end. After arriving at Connelly Station I got into a taxi. As ye do, I told the driver where I was going to. When we were heading away from the station the driver asked me if I knew where it was. Says I to him, I was depending on you knowing. Just saying, lol. I asked him if he had a sat nav and he said he had no need fer one. Lol. Anyway, the driver STOPPED a pedestrian and ASKED for directions to my destination. My word, I thought World War 111 was about to start. The pedestrian said what I was thinking...he shouldnt be on the road because he didnt know the area. The driver was shouting back at the pedestrian through MY window. Lol. Thankfully, I found my bearings and we got there, eventually. It could only happen to me.
