I was in Lowes earlier, desperately trying to find something I needed (without much success). It made me remember Rolliers Hardware in Shadyside. Down in the basement was this little old man behind a counter, and behind him were rows and rows of shelves containing little plastic drawers. If I went there with some obscure nut or bolt or screw or washer that I needed to match, I could just say, You have one of these? And he would immediately go to the correct drawer and come up with a perfect match! Never saw him miss.
