I was in a supermarket buying Peanuts stuff.When i reached the cashier and she started the transaction 3 baggers started teasing each other calling each other special childthen they would start laughing loud...making fun of one who they said doesnt know what he is doing.I was shocked because this establishment is known to have their staff go through seminars regarding persons with different abilities. I said stop it..what you all are doing laughing at people with special needs is not funny at all.I have a child with special needs.Then I said didnt you attend the seminars given so you will understand about our children?One of them answered yes.Then I said then its useless because you are making fun of our kids.Then I said you have no idea what our children go through so dont use the word special child?to laugh at anybody. One of them was still smiling..so I went to the Customer Service and asked for the Store Manager.When he heard about what happened he got teary eyed and was so apologetic and told one of his staff send those 3 to the Human resources department and take them off areaHe kept on apologizing and told me he was shocked because like what I know all of their staff go through Awareness Seminars on People with Different Abilities.He told me he will make sure they will have a disciplinary action. I told him it hurts to hear what I just heard from their staff and he said he knows and understands. I was crying on the way home...but i felt better knowing they have a manager who understands and knows his job.
