I was inspired today as I watched a new PreK child (who recently moved to this country) be greeted by another Prek friend with open arms and a big good morning hug. They jumped in each others arms with joy in seeing each other, though their English communication is just beginning to develop, It brought a wonderful teaching moment to me...Hugs transcend all languages...Love transcends all barriers. We may not always speak the same language, understand each others thoughts or motives, but one thing that speaks the same is how we love each other. It reminded me as to why I started Valley Christian Childcare Center to begin with. LOVE. The opportunity to show love to Ohio Valley Kids and to show them that Jesus loves them too! And no greater love is that than the beautiful love of our Jesus! Who freely gives love and overwhelmingly amount of peace and comfort. He absolutely loves us, even in all our busyness and tasks, we all are equal children in the eyes of Him. May we all strive to spread a little love to each other. Show grace and mercy, forgive each other, and even stop long enough to just smile and give a little hug! Thanks for the wonderful reminder Prekers!
