I was just asked by Childrens Hospital Los Angeles to sit on their Family Advisory Council!!! Should I do it? *this may be a rhetorical question lol* Yes, this was the same hospital that cared for my son this week. Its amazing to me how my personal experiences can really touch people. Dont worry, Ill keep sharing them and pushing for change. Step ONE: Encourage CHLA to drop McDonalds when their contract is up. Step TWO: Get them to look closely at their Prop 65 warnings. Most hospitals are using delivery systems with PVC, which are carcinogenic. Step THREE: Encourage the doctors to have petroleum/paraben/obesogen free recommendations for parents who are concerned with the synergistic effects of chemicals. Step FOUR: I got all sorts of things....what ideas do YOU guys have?
