I was just asked this question here on FB and figured Id share my response in hopes that the answer will ease the suffering of many pregnant women: Q: What can I do to ease nausea in pregnancy? Dr Julies Answer: Plenty!! 1) Ginger. Capsules, tea, ginger candy, or tincture. Take 4x daily. 2) Eat protein every 2 hours. Not just crackers. Get some meat/nuts/cheese into your stomach often to give it something to work on. 3) Vitamin B6. Take 150mg daily. 4) Digestive enzyme. This can help to digest your food and take the load off the liver to really ease nausea. 5) Seabands. You can buy these little metal bands at health food stores and when placed properly (3 finger widths up from the wrist crease) they can relieve nausea sometimes instantly. 6) Acupuncture. Works every time. 7) Salt your food. Its a digestive and really help to ease nausea. 8) Gooseberries! If you can find these, eat them up. Theyre a wonderful food, antioxidant, and anti-nausea remedy. What did YOU do to relieve nausea in pregnancy? Please share! And please share this post with any pregnant women who could use some support. xo Dr Julie
