I was just contacted by a friend of mine from high school, who is an attorney and prosecutor outside of the Detroit area, about a lady in a Detroit suburb who has three Scottish Deerhounds who repeatedly get out of her very small, city limits lot, they have been wreaking havoc when they get out, and she now has two weeks to rehome them or they will be put down. My friend got a hold of me and hes trying to stall euthanasia for two weeks from now, hoping to find a solution here. There are three, two males, ages 3 & 4, one of them is altered, the other isnt. And a six year old female. Shes been breeding the two unaltered dogs. Shes freaking 77 and cant control them. Deerhound rescuers close enough to Detroit? Please? What a shame. I can put you in touch with her attorney. Shes in trouble--a repeat offender with her dogs. I feel bad for the dogs--not their fault. Message me if any ideas, etc. please. Thank you, Stephanie.
