I was just taken a look at the morning news/talk shows and in one segment they were talking with the late nite talk hosts and how one is leaving and one is coming. Anyway heres what made me think of this when kids leave home sometimes parents stick notes in their suitcase for them to find later so many times I did things like that when Mikey would go out on tour. I talked about the food, Bird also talked about it during the radio show. But I would also stick notes in with his clothes, I would have things at different hotels for him when he arrived, I would have cards mailed to venues, throw flowers on stage, put signs across the highway as they came back into town, I did something I think every time they came home up until about the last year or so. I think some where I did put up a few pictures of the banners, signs in the driveway, the paper plates as their faces, some people may remember the frisbees, baby whistle, bubble gum cigars, and beach balls.
