I was just thinking how todays technology makes things seem quite impersonal, un- intimate and somewhat callous! My son texts me anytime we have a conversation, and I just really want to hear the sound of this voice! There is no way of hearing feelings, or emotions, or love through a text! Only through sound can we do that! I have a few good friends who CALL me everyday, because I guess they realize that to; and they want me to feel all the good things that come with the sound of their voice! A text can always be taken in the wrong way to, in a way it is not intended, because of its lack of emotion! I guess I am just old school maybe! I know one thing for sure though! My friends who take time to call me, are the ones that are truly making their selves a part of my life, and are the ones I know for a fact care about me, or maybe they just enjoy talking to me and that to me says it all. True laughter is a lot better than a LOL! To my son , I would just like to say CALL ME! To my friends who call me everyday, or maybe not everyday,, but do call, thank you for making me feel important and special to you, and I hope I make you all feel the same way!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!
