I was looking for some correspondence via email and came across some brief notes from my brother in 2008. He said he was losing weight rapidly but not to worry about it, he is okay. He wanted to live longer to see the fruits of his childrens studies. I knew then there was something wrong but typical of my brother, he will ignore that and focus on being with his children. My brother died in Oct 2011 of cancer. As I look back I am thankful for the time that was given to him. I am sure his children understands the man that he was....loving at all times of his children whom he considered as his gems and appreciates all that my brother had done for them. He was not a perfect father or husband but he tried his best. I miss him....every bit of teasing I got from him, every gesture of love, every word of assurance when I needed it most, every laughter and every tear. We are unable to replace people we love regardless of all of their imperfections. We only love them more knowing that what they all had....they have all but given. I love you then Hector....and I love you still!!!
