I was looking through my fridge and found half drank cup of milk (from my little Boogie butt) leftover from dinner on Saturday. I had to smile because it reminded me of her opening the fridge to take sips of her milk, carefully putting the cup back on the shelf and closing the fridge. Which lead to the memory, on the same evening, of the bead dot incident (Brooklyns name for the little bead she shoved up her nose....again!) which took several unsuccessful tries of John and Ashley blowing into her mouth to blow the bead out her nostril. It warranted an emergency downloaded flashlight app onto my cell phone to make sure it was even up there still. Yep! There it was, and after a few more tries, out came the bead (much to our relief) and Brooklyn carried on, gleefully playing with the new flashlight app on my phone. There is never a dull moment with my grand daughter around and, yes, it is memories like that that I will cherish forever. However small they may be to others, they always put a smile in my face 😊❤
