I was nominated by my sister Angela Walker and by my first godson - TopicsExpress

I was nominated by my sister Angela Walker and by my first godson Mathieu Kirchmayer to do the Ice Bucket Challenge. Im choosing to donate $100 instead of $10+theIceBucket. :-) Why? ALS financial documents show 27% (actually even less upon further inspection) a surprisingly small percentage of donations going to research. Thats not enough. So rather than ice bucket I choose to give $100 to IJM International Justice Mission liberators of women, children & men from slavery & human trafficking every day. I give monthly already and share about them almost every day because they exemplify James 1:27. And 82% of donations goes towards liberation. I wont nominate anyone since its also not clear that you donate a smaller sum but you still donate if you do the ice bucket challenge. $100 is a lot but cheerful givers dont count the cost. But Im glad people are finding something to inspire giving. Now I ask them to check carefully where they give. At UWM my sending agency, 91% goes directly to the missionary and the other 9% goes indirectly to us in the administrative services that provide our reduced cost full coverage health care, donor management and missionary care. So we say 100% goes to the missionary. Im currently underfunded. A Starbucks coffee is $5. Would you give up a coffee a month for the Gospel? Consider giving as little as $5 a month if you would like to help French people come to know The Lord and see churches planted across France where 95% of 65,000,000 DONT know Jesus...yet.
