I was nominated for the ice bucket challenge, actually a dual nomination by Andres Silva and Yvette Greenroad Kerr. I accept this challenge and will also be donating to ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gerhigs disease. While this is all fun and games, the disease is a horrible progressive disease with no current cure. I would ask all of you to consider donating by going to als. I am donating in memory of my friend Patrice Corbett who passed away in 2000 from ALS. I am nominating my husband, Rick Hodson, and the two birthday girls this week, my daughter Chelsea Clifton and my girlfriend Darlene Schriner because we are blessed to be able to celebrate your birthdays while some with ALS will not have that chance.
