I was not really happy with the progress of my painting. While I felt it looked pretty, I was building up form and the resemblance to my subject was sort of there.... it was lacking.... lacking personality... lacking presence... lacking being anything more than an attempt to repaint a photograph. So Ive taken a risk and tried something different, And I think maybe this has taken what I do up a notch. Cant wait to share with you all. Of course, I would consider myself an amateur artist but its exciting to push your own style and work towards something better
