I was okay with all the ragging on Jay until Maron started pissing on Lenos car show project. That shows that Marc Maron not only has an elitist streak about him, it also shows that he has NO idea whatsoever how good Jay Leno is when it comes to cars. The fact is, barring some kind of freak accident or major network exec interference, Jay Lenos car show WILL go on national TV and DOES have the POTENTIAL to become the top car themed entertainment show on the planet. And YES, I AM talking about it possibly doing better than Top Gear BBC. I was never a big huge fan of Leno as a talk show host but if youre even the least bit of a motorhead, you also know that Leno knows his cars and that car nuts everywhere enjoy the way he does his show. I always wondered why Jay didnt just skip the whole late night thing altogether and just go with a car show from the very beginning.
