I was on NPRs show On Point, where I was interviewed about the blasphemy laws in the Muslim world. onpoint.wbur.org/2015/01/15/blasphemy-islam-charlie-hebdo-free-speech Im happy that I managed to incorporate my main points:that its a mistake to concentrate on these laws and ignore the broader picture; that free-speech is all relative; that the West constantly harping on about the Muslim worlds problems actually plays into imperialist agendas; and that as the West talks exclusively about the supposed backwardness of Islam, they demonstrate both hypocrisy and arrogance.
