I was on the right track. It is the other side of the human action coin.......the other side being our wants. Scarcity of wants begins the instant Friday starts to covet Crusoes ability to transform those basic building blocks that, alone and untransformed, satisfy their basic needs and exist in inexhaustible abundance but with the application of Crusoes skilled labor become objects of desire, found nowhere else. Friday can either get up off his ass and learn and apply said transformation skills from Crusoe or he can get up off his ass and pick up a stick and attempt to steal Crusoes current transformations and/or enslave Crusoe to produce more. Its his wants that always get the hairless monkey into trouble.
