I was on the road all day yesterday up in GA on business and then headed back down to Florida toward sundown. As is the norm, I hit some thunderstorms which are just about an everyday occurrence this time of the year here. So what happens when youre on the highway and it starts to rain in Florida anymore? Yeap...the Freaking Yankees think its time to use their FLASHERS!!! Why??? Because ...its raining! Now here is what that does. It makes it appears that there has been an accident up ahead. There hasnt!! They just have no clue how to drive in rain. Do they move over to the slower lanes to let the locals who do know how to drive in rain pass? Oh Heck No!! They just slow down to 30 MPH on the EXPRESSway with their Dang Flashers on creating hazardous conditions until someone plows into them and does have an accident. It is about this time I begin wishing I had fender mounted Hellfire Rockets on my truck so I could blow them off the road clearing the path for drivers that do know how to drive in the rain. They dont even have the sense to move off the road or at the very least into the slower right or middle lanes. NO!!! OH Heck No!! They block the ENTIRE highway so NO ONE that does know how to drive in the rain can get to where they need to go. Expressway: a limited-access road with several lanes in each direction, designed for FAST direct travel. Hazard Lights..ie FLASHERS: Are to be used ONLY when a vehicle is stopped!! The ONLY time you can LEGALLY use Hazard Lights in Florida while moving is when you are part of a Funeral Procession....which I would gladly provide the opportunity for if I could get those fender mounted Rocket Launchers on my vehicles. So heres the LAW for all you nimrods that drive with your FLASHERS on every time it starts to rain here in Florida! IN FLORIDA, it is ILLEGAL to drive with your HAZARD LIGHTS on. Hazards lights are for stopped vehicles only. PS....I apologize for blaming this ILLEGAL and Extremely ANNOYING practice specifically on Yankees since many of the license plates I saw on the vehicles with their Flashers on during the rain were Florida Plates......which were probably Yankees that have moved down here bringing their Freaking Annoying Bad Habits with them!
