I was on the treadmill (not a resolution :P I try to be as consistent as possible...whilst shoving my face full of our truffles) and this song came on shuffle. It made me feel so inspired and joyful. I remember the first time I saw this music video. I choked up. I am my mothers son, after all. But think about it, all those people were making their dreams come true. All those soccer players were once little boys running on the field with dreams of playing in the World Cup one day. Win or lose, they did it. They played in front of the world with their blood, sweat, and tears. Then I think of how the community must have been so blessed with such an economic boom from all the tourists. Small family businesses made their ends meet, they celebrated, they cheered. They all came together, to make their dreams a reality.
