I was out of town this past weekend so I wasn’t available to set up a sale for this week. I’m hopeful that I’ll get my inventory count done quickly Friday and be ready to decide what the sale might be for the first week of January. I’ll send another email out Friday or Saturday with that information. I DO have some information on a couple of major changes that will go into effect Friday. Beginning Friday (1/2/15), ALL NEW books will be priced at the publisher’s listed price. Customers with store credit previously earned from trade-ins will be able to use 20% credit toward the purchase price of NEW books. THIS IS NOT A SALE, THIS IS A PERMANENT CHANGE. Another change will be the store hours for Friday and Saturday. I’ll be open 10-4 Friday and Saturday from now until my closing in May 2015. I AM still accepting trade-ins right now. I expect to continue that until sometime in March 2015. I AM being really particular about the trade-ins such as limiting the nonfiction books I’ll accept and making sure I don’t accept too many duplicate titles. There are at least a couple of required reading books that I know about that are needed by our local students at Dutchtown High School. You might check with your students to see if they need a book before they head back to school next Monday. I hope you all have a safe and wonderful New Year holiday. I’ll be open until 2 PM Wednesday and closed Thursday.
