I was proud to vote in favor of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2015, which passed the House with a bipartisan vote of 340-73. This bill funds the military operations and national security efforts our troops use readily to keep us safe. Furthermore, it addresses the President’s decision to release five dangerous terrorists by prohibiting the transfer of Guantanamo detainees. Our men and women in uniform risk their lives to protect our country and freedom, and we must ensure they have the tools they need to be successful.
