I was reading a few days ago about a tomato vine that we have. It grows around 9 feet tall. It has a pretty low yield and it takes the longest to mature. So why bother with it? It turns out that it is repeatedly ranked as quite possibly the best tasting tomato in the world. It seems that there are a few things like that. You will never find them in your grocery store as it would be impossible to make a profit. Im just guessing here but it seems the best food is never at the grocery store. Many of the best tasting and healthiest foods are only available to the gardener. The plant I was referring to is called the Brandywine Pink, Sudduth Strain and no those tomatoes are not for sale. :)
