I was remembering today that Jessie and I had to take her quaker parrot Albert to the avian vet in Leesburg. We werent sure how he would do on such a long car ride. Albert got up on my shoulder and was looking out the window with his head down and wings out like he was flying. Lol. He entertained us the whole trip. Jessie and I laughed and laughed at him. It must have seemed to him like he was flying with the speed of the car while looking out the window. It was hilarious. It was on this trip that we learned what Jessie somehow already knew...that Albert was in fact a male bird. I bought him for her as a birthday present. He is a funny little feathered friend for sure. Unless you are Evelyn Chesser or Rocky Kwek and stick your hands in his cage when he doesnt know you....but thats a different story. Ha! Jessie loved Albert very much, and so do I. He makes me think of Jessie. I miss my sweet baby girl. One day closer. Matthew 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?
